Comparison
Lobbystrike vs Deadshot.io: an honest comparison
We make Lobbystrike, so we are not neutral. We are also not going to pretend Deadshot.io is a bad game, because it is not, and you would stop reading.
The two are less alike than they look. Both are free military shooters in a browser tab with learnable recoil and quick kills. But they are built for different evenings. This page is meant to help you work out which evening you are having.
The one-paragraph answer
Play Deadshot.io if you want to open a tab and be in a competitive match against real people in seconds, and you are happy with a small, polished set of maps and modes. Play Lobbystrike if you want to choose: your own room, your own rules, 22 modes, 27 maps, bots when you need them, and friends on the same link.

Deadshot.io is made by its own developers and is not connected to us. Its column reflects public information in October 2026. It may have changed; check the game itself.
Gunplay
This is where the two are closest. Both reward controlling recoil rather than spraying, both kill quickly, and both want you aiming down sights.
Deadshot.io is the more arcade of the two. Movement is snappy, there is a well-known shotgun-jump trick for reaching high spots, and fights are over fast.
Lobbystrike adds more simulation on top. Every gun has a fixed spray pattern. Rifles and machine guns shoot through timber, sheet metal and thin house walls, losing damage on the way. Heavier guns are slower to raise. You can lean round corners, go prone, slide and mantle. Scoped rifles sway until you hold your breath, and on the big islands bullets take time to arrive and drop over distance. If that sounds like more to learn, it is.
Modes and maps
Deadshot.io picked a few respawn modes and tuned them. You will not find a weak one, and you will have seen them all in an hour.
Lobbystrike went wide. Respawn modes, round-based modes with no respawn, party modes, objective modes, three sizes of Battle Royale and a co-op survival mode. Every mode runs on the same guns and bots, so a room can go from Hardpoint to Gun Game to a Battle Royale drop without anyone leaving. The maps guide covers where each mode plays best.
Playing with friends
This is the clearest difference. Lobbystrike was designed around the private room. The host gets a link, sets a password, hides the room from the public list, picks teams, map, mode and bot count. If two people show up, you play Gunfight. If ten show up, you play Capture the Flag. See how to play with friends.
Deadshot.io is at its best when you queue into public matches.
Playing alone
In Deadshot.io, playing alone means public servers. That is great when they are busy and you are warmed up, and less great at 3 am or on your first day.
Lobbystrike has bots at Easy, Normal and Hard that take zones, carry flags and plant bombs, so every mode works solo. It is a decent way to practise a map or a gun before taking it anywhere competitive.
Community and competition
Deadshot.io wins this one. It has more players, so you will find full human lobbies more easily, and it has had longer to settle its balance.
Lobbystrike is new. Public rooms often have more bots than people. There is a per-server leaderboard, levels and challenges, but no ranked queue.
Performance
Both run on ordinary laptops. Deadshot.io's small arenas are light. Lobbystrike's small arenas are comparable; its Battle Royale islands ask more of your graphics chip. It has three presets (Quality, Balanced, Performance) and drops its render resolution by itself when the frame rate dips. It also runs on phones with touch controls, though a mouse is a large advantage.
So which one?
- You have fifteen minutes and want real opponents: Deadshot.io.
- You are organising a game night: Lobbystrike.
- You want to practise without being farmed: Lobbystrike, with bots.
- You want a tight competitive loop and nothing else: Deadshot.io.
- You get bored of the same four maps: Lobbystrike.
There is no rule against playing both. They are free and a tab apart.
